Active power filter 

The APF short for active power filter is a new kind of the power electronic plant restraining harmonic has quick response speed, effective and the advantage of dynamic real-time eliminating harmonic.

APF fundamental: it can be composed of two parts at the instruction current operate circuit and the compensation current generating circuit.

By the speed of fast fourier arithmetic (FFT) analyzing to obtain the instruction signal of compensation current, drive system IGBT module generated and the harmonic current amplitude is equal, opposite compensation current into power grid and offset the harmonic current to recover the power grid be pure chord waveform.
